v Habit Vertical Crib is used on the upper arch to restrain the tongue from excessive anterior movement or thumb sucking
v Habit Flat Crib is used to restrain the patient from sucking their thumb. Wires are place across the palate parallel to the occlusal plane to prevent it from contacting the rugae.
v Habit Rake is used on the patient that seems to get around all the other designs.
